COUNTER TERRORIST TRAINING
JSI conforms to all training requirements of the Iraqi government and CENTCOM / MNF. All personnel undergo rigorous basic training with regular refresher training including live firing range practices. We maintain detailed training records for all staff, which are regularly inspected by the Iraqi MOI. All training is conducted by the JSI appointed trainer (UK/US former military expatriate) with assistance from Iraqi employees.
All employees will undergo a recruit training package ensuring that they are safe and competent with the use of their personal and support weapons. All trainees undergo training in the current rules of engagement (ROE), escalation of force (EOF) procedures and basic first line medical training. On completion of basic training individuals will complete specific to task training, the format will be dependent on the role the employee is to perform.
JSI’s core staff come from the UK Special Forces and RMP Close Protection units. This puts JSI in a position of having credible, current and experienced counter terrorist operators who have the knowledge to conduct, but more importantly teach counter terrorist operations.
CLOSE PROTECTION
JSI has a wealth of practical experience, knowledge and expertise in being able to deliver close protection services to clients and close protection training to police, military and civilian personnel around the world. Our management team in Iraq have not only conducted worldwide close protection operations for UK military and the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, but have also held senior training appointments at the Royal Military Police Close Protection Unit and UK Special Forces. Live firing training exercises and refresher training for our operators are conducted at our training facility in Baghdad.
